Dedicated to Krista L. Newkirk, J.D., upon her appointment as the twelfth president of the University of Redlands. Composed with Timothy Cunningham, with text by Dr. Art Svenson. Premiered November 5th,  2021, and performed at the Inauguration of Krista L. Newkirk, February 23rd, 2022.  August, 2021

Taken from the 4th-6th chapters of the Book of Psalms, this is a simple and plaintive work written in troubling times. Originally composed for solo voice, this piece has also been arranged for SAB Choir and piano by Timothy Cunningham. September, 2020

Composed with Timothy Cunningham for the 72nd Annual Feast of Lights, an annual Christmas performance at the University of Redlands, this two movement work sets Greek Orthodox nativity hymns—the Apolytikion and Kontakion—for chorus and orchestra, with an optional piano accompaniment and an optional children's chorus. The work premiered December 6th-8th, 2019. April, 2019

This setting acknowledges the challenge in setting a very well-known text, and does so plaintively and unembellished, suitable for any concert or church use. Premiered October 24th, 2021. March, 2020
